emetrol

Description: EMETROL is an oral solution containing balanced amounts of dextrose(glucose) and levulose (fructose) and phosphoric acid with controlled hydrogenion concentration emetrol. Available in original lemon-mint or cherry flavor emetrol.

EMETROL quickly relieves nausea by local action on the wall of the hyperactiveG.I emetrol. tract emetrol.

Active Ingredients: Each 5 mL teaspoonful contains dextrose (glucose), 1.87g; levulose (fructose), 1.87 g; and phosphoric acid, 21.5 mg emetrol.

Indications: For the relief of nausea due to upset stomach from intestinal fluand food or drink indiscretions emetrol. For other conditions, take only as directedby your physician emetrol.

Directions:
Usual Adult Dose: One or two tablespoonfuls (1 tbsp equals 3 tsps) emetrol. Repeat every15 minutes until distress subsides emetrol.

Usual Children's Dose (2 to 12 years): One or two teaspoonfuls emetrol. Repeat doseevery 15 minutes until distress subsides emetrol.

Important: For maximum effectiveness never dilute EMETROL or drink fluids ofany kind immediately before or after taking a dose emetrol.

Caution: Not to be taken for more than one hour (5 doses) without consultinga physician emetrol. If nausea continues or recurs frequently, consult a physician promptlyas it may be a sign of a serious condition emetrol.

Warnings: This product contains fructose and should not be taken by personswith hereditary fructose intolerance (HFI) emetrol.

As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice ofa health professional before using this product emetrol.

This product contains sugar and should not be taken by diabetics except underthe advice and supervision of a physician emetrol.

Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children emetrol.

In case of accidental overdose, contact a Poison Control Center or physicianimmediately emetrol.

Inactive Ingredients: glycerin, methylparaben, purified water; D&C YellowNo emetrol. 10 and natural lemon-mint flavor in lemon-mint Emetrol; FD&C Red No emetrol. 40 and artificial cherry flavor in cherry Emetrol emetrol.
